OMFG!!!

I have seen it all now. I make no bones about how I hate the children pageants, not so much the essence of it  but how the children are caked in make-up, and I must admit my dislike  goes deeper than that.

If you watch any of the documentaries you can see how devastated the children are if they don’t get in the top three and the impression of worthlessness they feel,  thanks to their pushy mothers, who consider beauty to be caked in layers of make-up.

Psychological warfare in my arrogant opinion. Let children be children for crying out loud.

My dislike of beauty pageants has gone up to dizzy levels after seeing these horrific images.

Yes ladies and gents this is a mother injecting her eight year old daughter Britney with botox, because when Britney smiles there are “wrinkles” and she applies for beauty pageants, and that woudn’t do. WTF.

The mother claims she only gave it to her daughter because she asked for it after witnessing her administering it.   Moreover she refers to her supplier as a “behind the scene” doctor – say no more. Another term for yester years backstreet doctors, in my opinion.

Mummy Dearest

Apparently, the mother is being investigated by the San Francisco authorities. I think it’s the men in the white coats who need to get involved here. This is not an isolated case, she got the idea from other pageant mothers.

Do you really want your child saying this?

‘My friends think it’s cool I have all the treatments and they want to be like me. I check every night for wrinkles, when I see some I want more injections. They used to hurt, but now I don’t cry that much.’

The article below outlines other other areas of concern when injecting a young child.

Blind Ambition

I won't be long, just having a mid-morning snack

Well I’ve heard it all now ! My ambition in life is . . .  wait for it . . .  just a little longer now  . . .  ok here it comes

To Be The Fattest Woman In The World.

I kid you not,  the greatest ambition of  American Donna Simpson  42yrs, and 43st  is to be “The World’s Fattest Woman.”   We can see from the above Macdonalds buffet ,  she is well on her way.  I couldn’t resist giving the image a caption. I know . . .  naughty.

Remember my former article on Gluttony, no doubt she will be indulging in such culinary delights to secure the title.  http://bit.ly/c2G7lE

Seriously, what is the world coming to?  What kind of example are we  setting our children?  We are living in a society where we are at our most unhealthy, children shying away from PE and parents writing the notes for them.

When I was a child many, many moons  ago, a child’s ambition included being a hairdresser, policeman or a footballer when they grew up.

It will only be a matter of time when our children will be flouting their A-Levels and taking trips to the USA, not as a year out, but as serious contenders for “The Fattest Teenager In The World.”

Here’s food for thought (excuse the pun) It took 30 medics to deliver her child.

A Woman Scorned

Cynthia Shackleford a sixty year old spurned wife, sued her husband’s mistress for almost 9 million, for ruining her  33 year marriage. She evoked a draconian law on the basis that the mistress had “deliberately seduced”  and stole her husband.

Ms Shackelford told the ABC Good Morning America programme.

“My main message is to all those women out there who might have their eyes on some guy that is married . . . as long as a couple are living together as man and wife, same house, same bedroom, same bed: lay off.”

Well it could only happen in the US. What I want to know is whether the husband was chloroformed, handcuffed and dragged kicking and screaming to his lovers arm.

This kind of approach gives the impression that the husband is powerless or a toddler – Aww diddums.

Let’s get real, as the husband says, the marriage was over before he met the other woman (Ms Lundquist).

Not that I’m condoning what he has done but puh – lease – Stolen! He probably jumped into her arms like an over excited puppy. You can only be stolen if you want to be, subject to being held at gun-point of course.

Imagine such a law in the UK – The courts would be flooded and the Kiss and Tell ladies would be redundant. The area surrounding the courts will be so heavy with women, that one would be forgiven for thinking there is some kind of feminist movement going on.

Ms Shackleford looks victorious in the above picture but I wonder if anyone has told her , Ms Lundquist thought the court order was hysterical since she has hardly any cash, and is wondering where the 9 million will come from.

Breastfeeding Claims Quashed

Cute Mother & Baby

A research funded by the Food Standards Agency (FSA)  found that breastfeeding does not make a child more intelligent as once claimed. They found that breast-fed children tended to be smarter, but this was only because their mothers were.  Apparently, intelligent women were more likely to breast feed.  Eh! What a load of . . . There are countries were mothers have had very little or no access to education and their first port of call would be to breast feed their child.

The researchers do urge women to continue breastfeeding as there are other health benefits. http://bit.ly/d152ax The researchers probably used data on Einstein and self-made billionaires and found they were not breast-fed – so decided to back track on past data suggesting link with intelligence. Joking aside, I take these studies with a pinch of salt because there is always another study several  years down the line disproving the findings of another.

Tots Wearing Makeup

Apparently Katie Price (UK Glamour model) posted a picture on her facebook profile of her two year old daughter Princess Tiaamii adorned with make-up – Peter Andre (former hubby) hit the roof.  Personally I don’t see the appeal of tots being dolled up, like they are, in American children pageants. It  leaves a bitter taste in my mouth as I am always appalled. That is just my opinion. Each to their own. http://bit.ly/c8FHF9
